Back-painted splashbacks match your swatch more reliably, white stones and tiles read true behind protective glass, and display cases avoid a green cast. When standard clear is perfectly fine
If the glass sits in front of darker finishes, if edges are hidden by frames, or if you are tinting, frosting, or printing the glass, standard clear often looks identical once installed and helps the budget.
